Our Journey
Travel With Ayale began its journey onJune 1, 2019, as a simple idea driven by a deep passion for exploration. Founded by Lahiru Madushanka, Tharindu Perera, and Purnaka Gulawita, what started as a personal travel diary soon evolved into a platform dedicated to inspiring and guiding fellow travelers. Over the years, we have explored 30+ locations and two countries, embracing the spirit of adventure through camping, exploration, and storytelling.
Tragically, Tharindu Perera passed away on December 15, 2022. He gave his heart and soul to building this team, and his contributions will forever be a part of Travel With Ayale. We honor his memory every day and continue this journey with the same passion he instilled in us.
Purnaka Gulawita played a crucial role in shaping Travel With Ayale—from coming up with the idea of forming a travel group to designing our first logo. Though his professional commitments have kept him from actively joining our adventures since 2019, his influence remains a key part of our story.
From capturing our first adventure to now exploring diverse destinations around the world, we have grown into a dedicated travel team. Our mission has always been to bring authentic experiences, practical travel tips, and visually stunning content to our audience.
As we continue our journey, we remain committed to making travel more accessible, exciting, and memorable for everyone.
